the 4th...

there he is...the 5k winner!!

so very proud of my boy!

this was our 7th year running this race on the morning of the 4th...second time i have cried!

first time i cried was last year when the whole family crossed the line together...and this year was my boy got his medal!!

(the woman who runs the race had a huge smile as she handed it over...she was a homeschool mom and knows she was awarding another homeschool family!  SO COOL!)

everyone did well this year!

the girl even shaved 3 minutes off last years time finishing in 34 min!!

we add the little man to the mix next year!

SO PROUD!!

as usual, we made it back from the race in time to see our town's parade!

this is the youngest citizen and our dear friends!

NICE RIDE!!

so blessed by these little people and this "norman rockwell" town we live in!

all made sweeter by the founding father's who so bravely sacrificed so much for our freedom!

i will NEVER take if for granted!!
