as the months are unfolding and this new phase of my life is as well, i am giving you a look inside. why?? this is a personal issue, why would you share? perhaps for some it is too much information, i do see that! perhaps there are those who think that i need to share in order to put the "spotlight" on myself? or is it for education? or will it make me feel better to just air it all?
i have thought about this! as i am working through many of the emotional ramifications of being peri-menopausal i keep being stuck on this one question (don't get me wrong, it's not the only one)...why share all this info?
after looking inside myself and asking the Lord for leading on this i decided to share my story...
BECAUSE I was frustrated by finding no information or support while researching this topic for myself! i am opening up this personal part of my life and brain to make sure someone else can find it and know she is not alone!!
now, this is not the first time i have opened up on tough topics. i have always been open to talking about the struggles my husband and i have experianced as we lost 3 of our children. i have also been open about the topic of my endometriosis. these are personal topics, but i believe they do not need to be taboo! by sharing and being honest and open and caring we enable this grief of ours to be comfort to others. this is the way God designed female relationships!! Titus 2:3-5 tells us that the older woman are to teach the younger...i know that i am not old :) i know that i am not trying to teach you here. BUT i do feel this is pointing to the idea that God has designed woman to share their experiences with one another to provide support, comfort, and wisdom from having been there.
the Lord allows us to go through trials to refine us and prepare us for heaven. he also has placed us here to fulfill work for his glory. i feel a great call to share these things to remind others that God is good in all things, that God's timing is perfect and that as humans we need support to remember that while in the middle of anything! while doing this do i recieve comfort, support, and reminders of God's hand in my circumstance...OF COURSE!! that is a blessing he has afforded me, THANK YOU LORD!
so there is a reason for my sharing :) may the Lord bless you for reading!
