a new post...

well, i started thinking about writing a new post (feels like time to post again, i should be doing something else, i like connecting with you all, i have a topic that is tough, but i have conviction to write about)  all these apply...the biggest one is, drum roll please...................................................
i should be doing something else :)  yup, that's me, i am a professional procrastinator :( 
this time it is two fold, i should be doing the bills, or vaccuming, or putting away laundry, you know :)  but if i am going to post, i really should be tackling the issue that has been weighing on my heart this month.  serious post are hard to write well, even harder to get up the gumption to post.  why?  we are in a place today where tolerance is preached and yet so many are so afraid of actually saying the things they believe, very sad to me.  perhaps the issues is more about how people are saying the tough stuff?  as a Christian, i am called to speak the truth!  we are also called to be Christ like, being made in His image...so our truth telling should reflect Him!  in love and respect the truth should be told, but without judgment as He is the only judge of His people.  tall order for us mere mortals...and living in an age of political correctness, makes this conversation in my head even harder.
wow, light post to keep me from my household chores has now turned serious...well, now i know that when my chores are done, it's apparent i will need to do some tough writing, praying all the way to inform, and not offend, to speak truth, and not judge, to reflect Him in all that i say and do!
