around these parts...

i told you about our family "diet" and so far it's working well!  i will give a full update after we have a full month under our belt :)

today i thought i would give you a peek into our lives around here...winters are long, cold, and dark in the northeast.  but there are so many redeeming qualities, white Christmas, snow angles, snow sports, rosey cheeked kiddos, and hot chocolate! 
to pass the time around here we find ourselves doing some great things inside as well, craft projects, cooking, and well...this

looks like a normal bathroom, right?  but what is lurking inside??

we have three of these guys roaming our bathroom!  the game is that if you find one, you re-locate him :)  silly, but man it's so very much fun while brushing your teeth, or taking a shower, even makes laundry a little more interesting!
