365 days...

I was awoken by the sound of screaming!  A day I will never forget...the day our truck went up in flames next to our home.  So much has changed in our perspectives in those 365 days!  Little did we know as we ran out the back of our home with our kids half awake, that this was only the beginning.  The fast responding fire department and angles saved our home!  We returned 3 days later.  We are truely blessed!!  The events that took us from then until now are almost too much to believe...

*a trip to the ER on Christmas morning as mommy couldn't swollow, yup, STREP!
*5 more rounds of strep after that (all in a 4-5 month period)
*major health issues for me because of the repeated rounds of antibiotics (causing us to move doctors as they were ignored and got worse)
*months of looking for a replacment car inside the small reimbursment check from the truck
*MONTHS of work on the house (we are almost done!)
*then chicken pox (yup all 3 kids)
*a fire in the furnace (the oil company locked us from using it, replacement in 3 days)
*a hugely restrictive diet for me to help regulate my health again
*surgery to remove my tonsils (my body can't take any antibiotics EVER again)
Let me just say...we have been so blessed to see God's hand in every step of this year!  We could have crawled under a rock and waited for all this "bad luck" to pass, but we didn't we florished!
365 days can bring so much!
